By installing the MQT8K 6XBARC2 inside the device and connecting it in series with the heater power line, the heater will activate when the temperature is between 8°C and 4°C (ensuring that the heater is always ON when the temperature is below 4°C) and will turn off at around 12°C. As a practical method for measuring specific heat capacity, the thermal time constant is an accurate way to grasp the heat capacity of an object, but it is somewhat too academic for everyday practical use. Therefore, as a practical guideline, I have summarized in a table how well the thermostat's temperature can adapt to changes in ambient temperature compared to the thermostat's simple heat capacity. If the rate of change in ambient temperature is fast, the thermostat's thermal adaptation will be delayed, but if the change in ambient temperature is slow, it can be seen that the thermostat can sufficiently keep up with the temperature changes.
